【摘要】:ThispartofISO14520specifiesrequirementsandgivesrecommendationsforthedesign,installation,testing,maintenanceandsafetyofgaseousfirefightingsystemsinbuildings,plantorotherstructures,andthecharacteristicsofthevariousextinguishantsandtypesoffireforwhichtheyareasuitableextinguishingmedium.Itcoverstotalfloodingsystemsprimarilyrelatedtobuildings,plantandotherspecificapplications,utilizingelectricallynon-conductinggaseousfireextinguishantsthatdonotleavearesidueafterdischargeandforwhichtherearesufficientdatacurrentlyavailabletoenablevalidationofperformanceandsafetycharacteristicsbyanappropriateindependentauthority.ThispartofISO14520isnotapplicabletoexplosionsuppression.ThispartofISO14520isnotintendedtoindicateapprovaloftheextinguishantslistedthereinbytheappropriateauthorities,asotherextinguishantsmaybeequallyacceptable.CO2isnotincludedasitiscoveredbyotherInternationalStandards.ThispartofISO14520isapplicabletotheextinguishantslistedinTable1.ItisessentialthatitbeusedinconjunctionwiththeseparatepartsofISO14520forspecificextinguishants.
