【摘要】:ThisspecificationcoversthetypesofjointsrequiredforplasticpipepressuresystemswithawallthicknessequaltoorgreaterthanthatofSDR64andintendedforuseinsupplyanddistributionlinesforwater,usingflexibleelastomericseals.Thisspecificationcoversthetestrequirements,testmethod,andmaterials.Thetestmethodsdescribedarenotintendedtoberoutinequalitycontroltests,butaretoevaluatetheperformancecharacteristicsofthejoint.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainstothetestmethodportion,Section6,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
