【摘要】:ProcedureAisdesignedtoproducemoisturediffusionmaterialpropertydatathatmaybeusedasfollows:TodetermineapproximateexposuretimesforcouponconditioninginProceduresB,C,orD;Asinputtomoisturepredictionanalysiscomputercodes;orFormakingqualitativedecisionsonmaterialselectionorperformanceunderenvironmentalexposuretovariousformsofmoisture.ProceduresB,C,andDaredesignedtoconditiontestcouponstoaspecifiedmoistureequilibriumstatepriortoothermaterialpropertytesting(includingbutnotlimitedtomechanicaltesting).AsingletestusingProcedureAprovidesthemoisturediffusivityconstant,Dz,andthemoistureequilibriumcontent,Mm,atthegivenmoistureexposurelevelandtemperature.MultipletestsatdifferingtemperaturesarerequiredtoestablishthedependenceofDzontemperature.MultipletestsatdifferingmoistureexposurelevelsarerequiredtoestablishthedependenceofMmonmoistureexposurelevel.Vapor-exposuretestingshallbeusedtoconditionthespecimenwhenthein-serviceenvironmentalconditionisavaporsuchashumidair.Immersioninaliquidbathshouldbeusedtosimulatevaporexposureonlywhenapparentabsorptionpropertiesaredesiredforqualitativepurposes.Propertiesdeterminedinthelattermannershallbereportedasapparentproperties.Note18212;FormanypolymermatrixcompositesthevolumepercentreinforcementcanbedeterminedbyoneofthematrixdigestionproceduresofTestMethodD3171,or,forcertainreinforcementmaterialssuchasglassandceramics,bythematrixburn-offtechniqueofTestMethodD2584.TestMethodsD2734describesthelimitationsanduseofthecalculationsrequiredtoapproximatethevoidcontentinthecomposite.ThevoidcontentequationsofTestMethodsD2734areapplicabletobothTestMethodsD2584andD3171.TestMethodsD792canbeusedtodeterminespecificgravity.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedure(ProcedureA)forthedeterminationofmoistureabsorptionordesorptionpropertiesinthethrough-the-thicknessdirectionforsingle-phaseFickiansolidmaterialsinflatorcurvedpanelform.Alsocoveredareproceduresforconditioningtestcouponspriortouseinothertestmethods;eithertoequilibriuminanon-laboratoryenvironment(ProcedureB),toequilibriuminastandardlaboratoryatmosphereenvironment(ProcedureC),ortoanessentiallymoisture-freestate(ProcedureD).Whileintendedprimarilyforlaminatedpolymermatrixcompositematerials,theseproceduresarealsoapplicabletoothermaterialsthatsatisfytheassumptionsof1.2.1.2Thecalculationofthethrough-the-thicknessmoisturediffusivityconstantinProcedureAassumesasingle-phaseFickianmaterialwithconstantmoistureabsorptionpropertiesthroughthethicknessofthespecimen.Thevalidityoftheequationsused......
