【摘要】:Thesamplingproceduresdescribedareintendedforuseintheprocurementofsamplesofhydrauliccementafterithasbeenmanufacturedandisreadytobeofferedforsale.Theyarenotintendedassamplingproceduresforqualitycontrolpurposesduringmanufacturing.Thetestingproceduresoutlinedcovertheamountoftestingtobedoneandprovideguidanceforreportingonconformanceornon-conformanceofcementswithrequirementsofpurchasespecifications.Thispracticeisreferencedastheprocedureforsamplingmasonrycement(SpecificationC91),portlandcement(SpecificationC150),blendedhydrauliccement(SpecificationC595),expansivehydrauliccement(SpecificationC845),plasticstuccocement(SpecificationC1328),mortarcement(SpecificationC1329),andhydrauliccementbasedonaperformancespecification(SpecificationC1157).Mostbuildingcodesandconstructionspecificationsrequirethathydrauliccementtobeusedintheworkmeettheapplicablerequirementsoftherelevantpurchasespecifications,suchasSpecificationsC91,C150,C595,C1157,C1328,C1329,orC845.Ifthecodeorspecificationrequiressamplingofthemanufacturedcement,theprovisionsgivenin4.4areapplicable.Notmuchcementissoldonthebasisofsuchsamplingandtesting.AusefuldiscussionofsamplingandtestingcementiscontainedinACI225.1R.Theprocedurescoveredinthispracticeshouldbedonebyorforpurchasersofhydrauliccementwhoareusingacodeorspecificationthatrequiressamplingandtestingtodetermineifthesamplesconformtotherelevantacceptancespecifications.Thetestingisdoneusingspecifiedmethodstodeterminewhetherthesamplesyieldtestresultsthatconformtothespecification,andthetestsserveasabasisforacceptanceorrejectionofthelotofmaterialsampled.ItisneitherintendednorrequiredthatallcementsbetestedusingallthetestmethodsreferencedinSection2.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforsamplingandfortheamountoftestingofhydrauliccementafterithasbeenmanufacturedandisreadytobeofferedforsale.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsinparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.1.2.1Atonasusedinthispracticeis907kg(2000lb).1.2.2ValuesinSIunitsshallbeobtainedbymeasurementinSIunitsorbyappropriateconversion,usingtheRulesforConversionandRoundinggiveninStandardIEEE/ASTMSI10,ofmeasurementmadeinotherunits.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtomeasuretherateofoxidationforvariousgradesofmanufacturedcarbonandgraphiteinstandardconditions,andcanbeusedforqualitycontrolpurposes.Thistestmethodalsoprovideskineticparameters(activationenergyandlogarithmofpre-exponentialfactor)fortheoxidationreaction,andastandardoxidationtemperature.Theresultsuniquelycharacterizetheeffectoftemperatureonoxidationratesinair,andtheoxidationresistanceofmachinedcarbonorgraphitespecimenswithstandardsizeandshape,inthekinetic,orchemicallycontrolled,oxidationregime.Thisinformationisusefulfordiscriminationbetweenmaterialgradeswithdifferentimpuritylevels,grainsize,porestructure,degreeofgraphitization,orantioxidationtreatments,oracombinationthereof.5.3Accuratelydeterminedkineticparameters,likeactivationenergyandlogarithmofpre-exponentialfactor,canbeusedforpredictionofoxidationratesinairasafunctionoftemperatureinconditionssimilartothoseofthistestmethod.However,extrapolationofsuchpredictionsoutsidethetemperaturerangewhereArrheniusplotsarelinear(outsidethekineticorchemicallycontrolledregimeofoxidation)shouldbemadewithcaution.Inconditionswhereoxidationratesbecomecontrolledbyamechanismotherthanchemicalreactions,suchasin-porediffusionorboundarytransportoftheoxidantgas,predictionofoxidationratesusingkineticparametersdeterminedwiththistestmethodmayproduceoverestimatedresults.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstherateofoxidativeweightlossperexposednominalgeometricsurfacearea,orperinitialweightofmachinedtestspecimensofstandardsizeandshape,orboth.Thetestisvalidinthetemperaturerangewheretherateofairoxidationofgraphiteandmanufacturedcarbonislimitedbyreactionkinetics.1.2Thistestmethodalsoprovidesastandardoxidationtemperature(asdefinedin3.1.7),andthekineticparametersoftheoxidationreaction,namelytheactivationenergyandthelogarithmofpre-exponentialfactorinArrheniusequation.ThekineticparametersofArrheniusequationarecalculatedfromthetemperaturedependenceofoxidationratesmeasuredoverthetemperaturerangewhereArrheniusplots(asdefinedin3.1.8)arelinear,whichisdefinedasthex201C;kineticx201D;orx201C;chemicalcontrolx201D;oxidationregime.Fortypicalnucleargradegraphitematerialsitwasfoundthatthepracticalrangeoftestingtemperaturesisfromabout500x2013;550x00B0;Cuptoabout700x2013;750x00B0;C.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
